Situated in a prime location on the spectacular sandy beach in the romantic bay of Camp de Mar, and only a three minute walk away from the new 18 hole course Golf de Andratx, the Hotel Lido Palace is a four star hotel that really does offer something for everyone. The centre of the village with its shops and restaurants is only a 300 metre walk, the lively resort of Paguera only 3 km and the airport 38 km away. There is a scheduled bus service to Puerto de Andratx and Paguera.
The Lido Palace underwent complete renovation a few years ago and is spread over six fully air conditioned flloors with lifts. The single and double rooms have a very modern and comfortable interior. All have a balcony overlooking the Mediterranean and come fully equipped with bath/shower, hairdryer, direct dial telephone, satellite TV, minibar, music channel and safe for which there is a small extra charge.
The main restaurant serves international and national cuisine buffet-style and offers a non-smoking area. One a week a Majorcan dinner enables guests to sample local cuisine. In the evening there is a bar/salon with satellite television and an internet corner: you can listen to piano music in the bar or take part in the entertainment programme available several nights during the week.
There are numerous leisure facilities on offer including a fitness centre with its own whirlpool and sauna, aerobics classes, table tennis, cycling and tennis. A discount fee has been negotiated on the local golf courses which can be booked via reception. On the terrace there is an outdoor swimming pool with towels available against a deposit. The indoor pool is open between the months of October and May. The beach offers a variety of watersports including sailing, water skiing and diving. There is also an equestrian centre nearby.
